I have been working as a teaching/project assistant in Telecom Paris for the following courses during my Ph.D. tenure here.
2022
PAF Project Work
When: First year
Duration: 2 intensive weeks
Group: 2 to 6 students
Aim: Students take part in a multidisciplinary project in order to apply and expand the technical knowledge they have gained during their first year. It takes place over a two-week period dedicated exclusively to the project, culminating in the creation of a program, prototype, hologram etc.
Have proposed the following two projects and assisted in evaluating the student performance
Scientific course – INF103: JAVA Programming Language
Field > Computer Science.
Descriptif
The objective is to acquire the basics of the Java language, and, at the same time, several general concepts concerning object languages.
Objectifs pédagogiques
The major portion of the course is dedicated to the languages basic concepts. These concepts are illustrated by studying a small part of the standard library, especially the section which concerns graphic interface

Master scientific course – ROSP941 : Optical Information Propagation and Point to Point transmission systems
Field > Communications, Physics.
Descriptif
This course allows students to acquire the necessary tools to design a point-to-point fiber optic transmission system in the different parts of an optical fiber network (core, access or local area network). Students become familiar with the architectures of the transmitters and receivers as well as with signal degradations related to propagation in amplified optical systems. They also learn the metrics for estimating the quality of a transmission. They will thus be able to choose and implement the technologies adapted to the targeted transmission link.
Objectifs pédagogiques
– Learn the consituting blocks of an optical fibre transmission system, the major breakthroughs, study current examples of point-to-point links and future trends
– Study the origins of signal distortions and noise sources
– Design an optical fibre transmission system given a set of constraints (target bitrate, error rate, reach,…)

Students can submit their TR1 Lab 1 report here
